  • I Guess Everyone's Pretty Happy With X3e?

[Please note that I changed the subject line to correctly read X3e instead of X3d as I mistakenly posted]

Interesting how quiet it's been on the forum relating to peoples' discomfort... and problems.

Not to diminish the troubles that some are having as always, but overall there seems to be a serenity?

I must admit that I too have been quiet, but hopeful as I await not only a new version, but more importantly (for me) are resolutions to what I consider rather important if not show stopping...

I guess I am subconsciously succumbing to the posibility that I may have to wait until the next paid release... Or longer?

I am doing my work, but constantly taunted by my issues with Zoom... Difficult enough to deal with the limitations the Bakers placed on Lane Zooming, but the bug regarding zoom via click drag in the presence of Folders or Hidden tracks, I spend far too much time re-adjusting my zoom.... Everyday... All day...

The point of this thread? Have we all given up such hopes? I guess we are all relatively happy with X3d? I'm just wondering if others have found working with such factors to still be a hindrance or has it become "comfortable"?

Thanks...
Keni

Keni,
I'm running Sonar Producer X3e (build 352), I think it's the latest update, no problems here with X3e!

Uh - there is an 'E' update available.  (X3e).

And your signature still shows X3c, by the way.

I guess most of the issues with X3 have been brought to light, thrown about and generally, thoroughly discoursed. There's nothing to left to do but get on with music making and generally having a good time.
But then I'm a glass half full kind of guy.

Ooops...

Yes, I'm on X3e as well... Please excuse my faupagh... I will edit the subject line...

The topic here was really wondering whether there would be yet another update (hoping for fixes)...

Thanks everyone... I'll fix the lead message...

I think George Carlin nailed it: "Some say the glass is half-empty. Others say the glass is half-full. I say you need a different-sized glass."

I don't even use it. As a program it works great but it's UI sucks and that's being EXTEMELY  generous about the UI. If they were going to give us 50 shades of grey they could have at least included the proper use of bondage in the manual.
