Just upgraded from X2 Essential to X3 Producer.  I can't find any documentation that tells me how to record individual drums/cymbals in an AD2 kit to their own tracks.  I'm not using loops or beats - I'm step recording and want to record a full drum pattern one drum at a time (kicks first, snare, followed by cymbals, etc.).  Anyone in the same boat that can tell me how this is accomplished?

I've never had AD, but I assume it's like every other VST drum machine.
Click notes in a MIDI track that has it's output set to AD.

Your in the wrong forum next time use the forum for X 3 , the one at the top of the pile.
But all you need to do is draw the notes.
There is a step sequencer I've never used it so bad one to comment on it. I just bash away on a keyboard or my digital drums.
But I can draw patterns in the piano roll view too. I was just doing this a few minutes ago..
It doesn't matter which drum synth you use.
Insert a blank midi track and assign it's output to AD.
