Doesn't 100% of the world's supply of Berylium come from China?

Beryllium comes from China and I guess some from Kazakhstan now.  Japan and France only make components from the metal, they don't supply the material or process it.  USA does process beryllium, but they still have to get the metal from Asia.

Which is the better one Zo, the newer or older ones and if it is the older ones well that sort of rules out the Opals as being viable doesn't it.

I am definitely for anything that is great. What you say though Freddie is speakers like the Opals are the only decent monitors in the world and everything else is rubbish. That is way you come across. But in reality the Opals are very very good but there is swag of fantastic monitors out there and all I am saying is check them out.

Monitors are very personal. Some make not like the sound of the Opals compared to another monitor. Once you start playing back high quality reference material and getting to know how that really sounds in your environment I think the importance of the monitors is actually diminished somewhat.

Great! Then we are on the same page!
Of course there other great monitors then OPAL out there. Never said that? But for the same budget...its hard to beat!

Of course you shall always try monitors yourself and getting to know how that really sounds in your environment.
