Hi, I recently bought the alessis usb guitar lead and gutar rig 4 le added software ... well total crap was the answer to that!! a waste of £20 after many attenpts to get it to work.. no joy, so binned it!! as i coudnt register it either!! the native instruments support was useless!!? ... anyway,before i was using audio jack lead into audio right or left lead from 0404 sound card for my guitar, but cannot for the life of me get sound or record guitar when imputing audio track from sonar 7 pro which i use , i get sound from sonar no probs but nothing on the guitar which was working perfectly until i used that usb alessis guitar lead!! i checked my dsp all seems in order, is it possible that the alessis usb software has altered my E-MU 0404 card  drives .. i will check again today, its very odd to say the least??

Well... even put my old  E-mu 0404 in, there was sound on sonar and my korg m1 midi keyboard yet still! no sound on the guitar audio inputs .. ?? put the new 0404 back  working the same as older one?until i used ALESSIS USB my guitars worked fine. If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it, as im still thinking the ALESSIS USB SOFTWARE has altered my  drives its got to be something minor as everything else works? I was thinking of reloading the E-mu software again but would it be worth it?? and would i need to reload sonar7 as well???
