Wow, this sounds great!  Your choice of VIs works so well and sounds pretty authentic IMO.  And while the vocals don't necessarily sound like EJ it seems like they're in a solid right range for your voice.  
 
I don't know the original that well, but honestly, I don't feel like I need to.

Also for the all my efforts I could not duplicate the Davey Johnstone distorted guitar tones.

I like this track and it's funny that I'm not real familiar with this tune like everyone else so I get to listen to it fresh. Real nice vocal, well done!

The last few songs I've posted were all pretty big hits in their time....this one's from 1975 so I must be getting REALLY old. I might need to freshen things up a bit!
