I can't get any preset patterns to show in the drop down list in the arpeggiator. I found arp and ptn files in open files but the drop down shows nothing. Can anyone help? Thanks!
 
 

Could be a messed up registry entry. For X3 Producer check registry path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR Producer\X3\UserPaths key ArpPresetFolder. ArpPresetFolder should point to the "Arpeggiator Patterns" folder containing the .ARP files.

It lists as follows;
C:/users/bayoubill/app data/roaming/cakewalk/sonar x-3 producer for ArpPresetFolder

That does not sound like the "Arpeggiator Patterns" folder but it could be if that is how you set up your system. I believe the default location is "C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X3 Producer\Arpeggiator Patterns". Since the Cakewalk Content location is defined during installation the ArpPresetFolder registry entry needs to reflect the location of the arp patterns on your system.

That's where they are located. Looks like I need to add  \ Arpeggiator Patterns to it. I don't know how to get that to the registry files. If I right click I get a "new" pop up. I have the installation disk. Could I do a custom install?

To edit the path in the registry key ArpPresetFolder double-click the key
