Hi, everyone! I am soon planning to purchase a new MIDI controller to run along side my keyboard. However, until that day comes along, I need help with this one thing:
 
Is it possible to disable the pitch bending qualities of the pitch bend wheel and sort of use it for modulation (or to control other parameters without affecting pitch)?
 

..or not? Sorry, this is my first time posting here- I just thought maybe this could be answered in a few words really quickly??

Ok, I solved it. I had to turn off the pitch bend range on my keyboard. Thanks so much everyone who helped 

Sorry - I saw your post earlier, but was helping someone with some computer problems.
 
I would think you could also assign the CC# to something different, so that moving the pitch bend wheel would affect some other channel control.

Thanks for coming around, robert! And sorry if that last post made me appear sorta rude- It's just that I needed the solution quickly. So in terms of changing the CC, is that something that can be done in SONAR? I have to admit that I'm not super-experienced with controllers and stuff (as you ca see).
