Greetings everyone,

stupid question but I need help, Ive been working on some drums on a song using EZdrummer. I've played the snare and bass drum parts using my keyboard and am now adding the high hat and cymbals.

Now every time I add a new note and listen to it to see how it sounds It never plays from the begging or where i last clicked on the time line only from the last note added.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to get over this annoying issue?

Is your questions how to avoid the Now Time marker from moving to your last placed note, or something else?

I don't know if this is what is causing this for you, but is easy enough to check and try out.

In the Track Pane, just above the time display, there are some drop-down menu buttons.  Click on 'Options', and look to see if 'On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker' is checked or not.

With it checked, Sonar will re-position itself to where you last set the Now Marker, when playback is stopped.

Some folks have it checked, and sometimes unchecked, depending on what they are doing.

Sounds like you have Snap on - When you're clicking in the Time Line to listen, it's snapping to a quarter note resolution which is the position of the last note, as you've described.  With Snap off you can play from anywhere - You can also enter your notes with Snap off, using the PRV grid as a guide for placing notes.
