All the fan-boys will get a twist in their knickers.

The obvious reason for this poll result is that you can custom build a much more powerful PC DAW for much less than a comparable Apple DAW.
 
My experience with Cakewalk is that it doesn't much matter what the underlying disc operating system is. And that goes back to Cakewalk/MSDOS 2.0 in 1987.

I'm suspecting that a lot of those people started using Mac and Pro Tools because it looked "pro" - the same kind of people who spend a lot of time on the internet voting in polls about DAWs. ;)
 
 

I've just voted 5 times and I've never even owned/seriously used Pro Tools.

Polls anyone can vote in as often as they like = a count of how many times people with bees in their bonnet will click 'vote'. And nothing else.

Polls where people with bees in their bonnets can vote only once are called elections. And god help us. 

Windows & Mac should merge to make the ultimate computing machine... the Windintush!
