Yes the TTS1 mixer controls are quite good. lots of fx and choices.
And Thanks for the tips.

FWIW, you can have a single instance of TTS1 with multiple MIDI tracks pointing to it (output) using different MIDI channels to access the sounds loaded on each of TTS1's channel strips.

The devil appears to be in the details.
I get the idea, just not how to actually do it.
From above I get it starts with TTS1 insert
Then choose All Synth Audio Outputs?
It then generates several tracks
Then we can assign a track to a channel somehow.
Right?

Huh.. I've never tried multiple audio outs with TTS1 before.   Just synths like AD or Kontakt where each instrument or drum gets its own audio output for independent EQ, compression, etc.

What I was referring to was having multiple MIDI tracks feeding the same synth.   IOW, say four MIDI track tracks whose outputs are all TTS1, but whose MIDI channels are 1, 2, 3 and 4.  Assuming that TTS1 has its first four mixer channels using four different instruments, each of those four MIDI tracks should feed one instrument only.

When you choose for all synth outs to be inserted in a project along with the synth, the resulting audio tracks are already hooked up to the synth.  In the case of TTS1, there will be four audio tracks, each on one of the four available outs - so you don't need to do anything else to set those tracks up.  If you inserted the audio tracks manually after you've inserted the synth, then you'd need to set the additional tracks to have their inputs coming from TTS1.

It's in TTS1's GUI that you not only set the MIDI Channel for each instrument, but which of the four available audio outs it will use.  See?

Because I don't use TTS-1 for much anymore I stopped inserting with the 4 tracks. You really don't need them unless you wish to apply processing to only one audio track. Example put delay on the Sax track.
To put the process in a simple way;

Insert TTs-1 and choose the 4 outs ( all)
Insert a midi track and assign it's output to TTs-1
Open the track properties and choose the channel and instrument.
Record the part.
Now keep repeating the process assigning each new track to a new channel until you've used all 16 channels.
Use the GUI to assign channles to one of the 4 outputs.
Say put Bass and drums on 1
Horn section on 2
Piano on 3
And strings on 4

Now you could apply audio efxs to those output. You sure don't want reverb or delay on bass and drums ,,  get it..
You can assign more than one track to a channel and it will play the same instrument. Example hi and low piano parts.

There are other ways to do the same thing, this is just an example.

This is good to know. Saving this for future reference.
