Missed this re-awakened thread which kind of renders my response to the other one moot. Obviously you know how AS works, and you're having issues anyway.

As I mentioned in the other thread on this, 8.5.3 has many AS improvements, and IIRC some of them are related to graphical issues You should check it out.

Using X1, this stuff is still happening. My experience closely resembles the original post from brundlefly. After re-timing audio, i.e. manipulating the clip tempo map, the transients vanish and I cant get them back.
 
Its been 7 years, cake.   SEVEN YEARS.
 
With guys depending on me to get stuff done, I really struggle to keep using Sonar anymore.  The codebase appears largely unchanged, as bugs recur over many versions, and the bugs don't get fixed.  I really what the program can do, it just doesn't do it reliably.

How do I clear the picture cache?

Find the directory containing the cache in SONAR preferences then, using Windows Explorer, delete the files.
