GBO323...I keep having to re-load the Choir in Aria *every* time I re-start the track. That's annoying. Any ideas on that one?
And why do you have to keep re-loading it? The patch completely disappears--?--probably not. You get no sound?--probably that, and you could be going through Gate #1 that all Garritan users have to go through: Go to your Sonar Preferences, and in the MIDI section UN-check the dreaded "Zero controllers" option. That literally brings all MIDI controllers back to zero every time you stop. Doesn't work at all for Garritan, because CC1 controls the volume. With CC1 back to zero, you get no sound when you push Play again. Un-check that, and you'll continue at the same volume level you last left off.
Note that you really Must control the volume in a continuous way with all the Garritan instruments to get the most natural sound. If you just plug in a patch and let the volume remain the same throughout a track - deadness. Record your volume data in a dynamic way, emulating real instruments.
Also note that ARIA now interprets CC1 and CC11 in exactly the same way. So, use your Mod Wheel or Expression Wheel - If you don't have either, then you can of course draw the data in, but you really need to have a good feel at what real-time volume data looks like.
If your Choir's not disappearing because of the "Zero Controllers" thing - hmmm - Well, check that first.
