Glad you found some answers, Cose. You had apparently stumped the community with this question. Given that the TTS-1 was originally touted as the software incarnation of Sound Canvas, I would have thought that it supported the entire GS specification. Who'd have guessed you'd find your expert in a guy named Ultimate Doomer...that video brought back fond memories of many happy hours immersed in that little virtual world.
Well, the guy is a geek of the highest order, but also kind of a genius, very smart, and an inspiration. I am subscribed to him on Youtube.
he he, I kind of stumped away... but I think I got the response I needed after much experimentation and some frustration. This seems to be the best place to ask for me, because this is where I got interested in the TTS1 and MC6 Touch, and it's such a huge community here that it has all kinds. I suppose it's a bit noobie-ish to spam the forum, buuuuuuuut... I still keep coming back to it. xD That's gotta count for something...!
Now that you mention it, the virtual world that it is the use of software synths and stull like that is so varied, and full of possibilities... sometimes you just want to settle down with something that works, a continuous pursuit I have, but you cannot put all of your eggs in one basket; i.e., you can't place your sound worth on the possibilities of one single program, because you learn a bit here and a bit there.
I have a few DAWs and MIDI editors and so on, which sometimes creates more hassle than its worth, but when I need something in particular there isn't a single program that does everything for me. And that's another thing...one of the things that always fascinated me more of MIDI -first being it's amazing flexibility- and making music from synths and the like is how one can get it to sound so real.
Listening to your music in the background, some fine music in there, some of them with actual voice -like Soldier (the guitar solo is quite nice) and Me in the Back of a Limousine-, not just instrumental and my favourite for now is Just Nod if Your'e in There. I was born in a very rainy region and we're known for being the melancholic type, and that music kind of give me.... feelings...
Maybe having a Youtube channel and sharing your music there wouldn't be a bad idea, I think. Thanks for your reply, David.
