Some of my software synths have stopped to work in Sonar X3e. Sonar crashes when inserting them.
Anyone else got problem with:
 
Novation Bass station (vst 2) 64-bit
 
Arturia Oberheim SEM V (Vst 2 + vst 3) 64-bit
Arturia Wurlitzer V (Vst 2 + vst 3) 64-bit
Arturia Spark Vintage (Vst 2 + vst 3) 64-bit
 
According to Cakewalk and Arturia support teams, there are some issues how Sonar X3 handles VST 3. This is addressed, and hopefully we see a update soon. However, VST 2 should work...??

I have no issues with Bass Station 2. If you got it free with focusrite gear you may be entitled to a free upgrade on Novations site.

In regards to Arturia remove the the VST2 plugins and only use VST3 plugs.

Bob you wrote '+1'? with an issue number. Are you confirming VST2 does not work with X3E? Or is there a specific issue with Arturia?

The +1 was to both synths not working in X3e.
 
I have not yet looked for an update to the Bass Station plugin.

I'm having the same problem. Oberheim SEM V and Wurlitzer V are crashing Sonar. Tried removing VST2 but didn't seem to have any effect. I may try again. Lost a lot of faith in Arturia after Brass2 which doesn't work at all - apart from as a standalone.
 
Any help would be much appreciated.

Tried removing the vst3 version, just leaving vst2. This worked. So goodbye vst3 version

I got caught up in other things and forgot to contact Cakewalk tech support to see if there is any update on this.
 
I will also dig into Arturia on the web and see if there is any additional info.

Arturia say the problem is with SONAR authorisation, so far Cakewalk have said nothing to me nor have they mentioned this CWBRN-25907 reference to me.

Maybe they could join this discussion
