OK so load up Italio 84.
You should see MOD WHEEL set up already for OSC PITCH, change it to all oscillators -> Waveshaper twist.
Now go to second oscillator and change the wave to Vintage Saw 1
Try it now.

And then try this...

Load up creamy Poly
Under "eg" section turn up the time pot all the way.
There are already two mod wheel settings, change them both to all oscillators -> Waveshaper twist.
Change the second oscillator to Vintage Square 1.
Try it now.

With other presets it may work straight out of the box.

I think you just need to customize the presets to your requirements, not all presets are going to work out the box the way you want it.

If you are to nail down a possible bug it's probably best to do it from INITIALIZE PROGRAM as there are too many variables in a patch to nail anything down, however right now I'm not seeing a bug, rather patches that may not be tailored to your specific requirements.

Oh and the gotcha that caught me out, make sure "MIDI learn" is off for everything.

BTW I'm not sure how deep your knowledge is in this area (it may be better than mine), but this is a great tutorial I strongly recommend regardless of knowhow:

Cheers...

It is simply not working. Tried everything you suggested.

CakeAlexS

Load up creamy Poly

Under "eg" section turn up the time pot all the way.

What has the Envelope Generator got to do with this?? And which "time pot"
you're referring?

CakeAlexS make sure "MIDI learn" is off for everything.

This also is irrelevant. I tried it anyway - no change.

The only way it works correctly is Initializing and building a preset from
scratch :(

Anyway, thank you for your input.

Turn them all up if you like.

It works here as long as I tweak the presets correctly. Otherwise I get what you are having. You need to feed it what it needs like two wave forms to compare with.

Any bug should be reproducible from initialize program not just patches. You might want to strip each patch to bare bones until it starts working for you, or try and manually clone an existing patch from an 'initialize patch' until it stops working for you(set up the waveshaper first). You could have two Z3TA plugins open side by side to do this.

Maybe further input from others will help. I've done the best I can from my end. I don't see any bug right now it works.

Thanks.

... actually at this stage you might want to ring up Cakewalk support to see if there are any known issues.

You might want to do some research on google (search for z3ta bugs), I found a few threads that could be of help (or not) like this one.
