  • Why do track folders drag expand the actual folder portion?? (p.3)

I too find it VERY annoying that the folder headers don't remember their size when I reopen a project.  Having to go through and minimize dozens of folders every time I open one of my projects goes against all the workflow enhancements the X series is supposed to be about.

Where do I go to submit a ticket to development?  I'll gladly add my voice to the count.

Plus they're still idiosyncratic in many other ways. In projects I'm working on now if the track I want to drag into a folder is above the folder, it won't target the folder itself. I have to drag the track to just beneath the folder, and THEN I can drag it up into the folder.

Also, sometimes I can't drag a track folder to the bottom of the track view. I have to drag it to the next to last, then move whatever is last above it.

Oh, and while we're at it why does sometimes putting a track in a folder jump the display to the top, or even more crazy, make the folder jump to the bottom?

Yes wicked, I too experience all the idios you listed and will reported them to cake.
May I suggest to one and all who suffer from these listed below to reported it to CW as well

- Folder headers not retaining the saved size on reopening a project, (if project was saved with auto zoom on).
- Can't drag a track folder to the bottom of the track view. I have to drag it to the next to last, then move whatever is last above it.
- Putting a track in a folder jumps the display to the top, or the folder jump to the bottom?
