Audio engineers are like IT in any company.  They're necessary...but generally lack inventiveness (unless they're musicians in the former and unless they write programs in the latter).  So mario use their services if necessary, but here it's nut.

I am merely wanting you to solely focus on the personality that the voices themselves convey.

This is what I say to my wife after a particularly loud bowel movement.

I'm with mario.  The scratches and blotches don't borker me.  It's the gesture, the idea that's important and mario nails it every time!  You are quite a talent my friend!

It's this kind of encouragement which creates all of those hilarious auditions and subsequent meltdowns on American Idol. I love those. BUT MY MOM, MY DAD, MY GRANDMOTHER AND ALL OF MY FRIENDS SAY I'M THE NEXT WHITNEY HOUSTON!

But this is a different situation.  Let me explain.  On American Idol, you are judged overall on your singing talent.  You are judged based on many factors.  But I am asking you to focus on only one factor here.  That factor would be how the sound of those voices suit the images in my videos.  I am not asking you to focus on any other factors (i.e. pops and clicks, words that sound like gibberish, etc.).  I am merely wanting you to solely focus on the personality that the voices themselves convey and how they suit the images I have used.

Oooooohhhhhhhhhh!!! Why didn't you say so.......

Ok, ok, ok.....here's my take on this (after watching/listening to all your videos):

1) the 'voices'/noises are just a bunch of noises coming from your mouth and definitely DO NOT suite the images

Nothing more......nothing less.

As millennial's would say.....the "struggle is real" bro!

But if the sound of the voice was not your typical sounding voice that one would make (such as imitating another person) and this voice was something artistic and beautiful despite the flaws that this voice had (i.e. too loud, too soft, crackling, etc.), then that would make that voice a work of art.  If you pay attention to all the other flaws, then you will fail to appreciate the work of art that this voice really is.  The voice conveys a beautiful personality and that is what matters.

You mean to say that you don't perceive any personality in the voices despite their flaws?  I perceive a distinct personality in those voices and, to me, they perfectly convey those images.  For example, with that boss voice I made.  Despite the fact that there are some flaws and there are no words, the voice itself sounds like a fat yelling man and that is what suits that boss image.

So use that standard as a means to judge these voices I made.  Do not use the typical standard such as what American Idol judges use because as long as you go by that standard, then you will fail to appreciate the works of art that these voices truly are.  Therefore, here is one final voice I made.  I think that is my final voice I will post here.  So here it is.  I think it is my best one:

It sounds like you're fishing for compliments based on things that a 5 year old child could do. I mean I could post a picture of a duck on YT along with 3 minutes of me saying quack, and then if anyone questioned the artistic merit of it then I would say "yes but don't you agree that me saying quack like that is an accurate representation of what's in the picture and that I have managed to convey that particular animal with an accurate degree of blah blah blibbety...."

I think maybe you're mistargeting your audience. You need to aim for the Sesame Street crowd.

A 5 year old could not do this.  The voice that a 5 year old would come up with would be one of those typical voices I've just mentioned in my previous post.  Read my previous post I just made for further insight.  Therefore, I think I am targeting the proper audience here.

I am going to say one more thing in regards to this.  Pretend for a moment that there is a child who is attempting to imitate the voice of a yelling boss like I just did.  Despite the fact that both my imitation and that child's imitation both have flaws, my voice would be much better than his.  My voice would convey that boss image far better than that child's.  The child's imitation would be weak, mediocre, and lame while mine would be great.  So that is what I am getting at here.  Despite the flaws in these voices I have made, they are works of art better than what a child or any lay person could do.

Think of a really good voice imitation out there done by a professional (such as the imitation of a yelling boss).  A child would not come anywhere near close to the greatness of that imitation.  But I would come closer to the greatness of that imitation.  It is not because my voice is older and the child's is younger.  Rather, it is because I did a better job than that child.  So despite the vast amount of flaws in my voices, my voices themselves do come closer to a professional imitation.  It is a better imitation than what any child or lay person could do.
