I think the Forum Monkeys should do a song about Askimet.  Maybe something like "I've got a Big Brother named Askimet!"

Nice to know that those with the power to decide whether or not our posts are worthy of resurrecting have folders on their own computers that some of us might find slightly distasteful to say the least.
 
The very thought of what's actually in 'that' folder makes me cringe.
 
Next time the host in question lectures you on what is and isn't acceptable forum behaviour, he might do well to reign his hypocrisy in and clean up the filth on his own hard drive first.
 
 

I had this issue for a while and contacted Cakewalk. For some reason they told me certain posts were deemed spam (accidentally) and transferred to the trash so they never made it to the forum. They simply did a fix and my posts started to re appear. Not sure if this is the reason in Kenny's case but likely considering the same behaviour.

It's a reference to a folder John had on his PC which, embarrassingly, showed up in a screenshot he made.

I'm not going to touch that Angela Merkel comment with a 10 foot pole....
 
 
But yeah, aksimet was wiping all of my posts and replies a few weeks back... just started out of the blue and then I couldn't make a single comment. One mod restored several for me... then it happened again.... 100% delete of everything I tried to do..... and one of the bakers came to the rescue and told aksimet to leave me the "H" alone. it's been behaving itself since. The baker commented that it has the ability to learn as it works, but every now and then it gets a bit zealous in it's job.

My situation was getting just like Herbs ...it didn't seem to mater what I was posting  ...it got munched..
Anyway I came back here to hand out some help fulls ...
I didn't want poor ole Steve Strummy to think I don't Wub him any more ....

This has just happened again ..My Post got placed in the trash .
I just spent a hour writing a new post over at my thread in the songs forum ...did a quick edit and now all my work is gone....
