Hi,
 Not sure if this is the correct way to go about things but I've tried contacting Cakewalk and XLN Audio as after upgrading to x3 producer my account states;
Addictive Drums -Backordered - SN

 
cant express how gutted I am as the update purchase was only for the drums :( which I was intending to have a bash at on my weekend off!
 
just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and what's the best way to go about getting this sorted.

Cakewalk phone support will be open in like 2 minutes so you could give them a call. It's free if you are in the US. They might be able to get you sorted. I think XLN is online support only but they've usually gotten back to me within a day however they just released AD2 which has them busy and they seem to have done some wacky upgrades to their site which is causing problems.
 
Be prepared for some screwing around though. Registering AD is a little complex and requires registering on their website. Maybe in the interim you could set up your XLN account now. Then when you get the s/n's part of the work is done. Good luck.

It is up to Cakewalk to supply the product code (although they get the codes from XLN). Contacting Cakewalk customer support was the correct avenue. Sometimes near the end of sales, Cakewalk runs out of 3rd party authorization codes. The code usually appears in your store account in one or two business days. Cakewalk has also been know to send out emails when the codes become available.
