Anyone had direct use / experience with the Avantone CK1 - (3 capsules) mic? Wondering before I buy.

I can't speak to the CK1, but I have the cv12 and if it's any gauge of expectation, I felt it performs quite well, compared to a real AKG c12. I have the Avantone CK-6 and it's quite nice...has Roll Off and Pad...

Not great...but really nice for the price range (about $180)
and it came in a Wooden Case inside an aluminum case with a
nice shock mount.

Bang for buck, Avantone makes some nice mics...

If you want a really nice Mic for not a lot of cash, check out
the MXL V69 Mogami....$300 and gets praise from some BIG name producers,
like Terry Brown, who produced Rush...and others...and gets compared to
the "N" mics a lot...

Haven't read one single bad review about it...it's on my TO GET list...LOL
