Wow! I just found this while searching for something else...

I can't find the thread about this, but I thought it should get posted...

I'm a bit surprised no one pointed this out?!?

There IS a shortcut to toggle the PRV snap... the shortcut is:

Shift-Alt-N

That will save some time though it's a difficult single hand toggle...

Now to find a way to keep grid follows snap from reverting to Global snap values when PRV snap is toggled!

Please excuse me for posting this a second time. I couldn't find the thread for this topic and I posted it in a thread about a different topic, so I thought it might interest some people who might not see it any other way...

Or from the main menu Help > Keyboard Shortcuts then follow the link to Snap to Grid shortcuts
But these are not PRV specific and SHIFT+ALT+N is not listed so the user guide and help system are not useful in this case.

I also noticed that the shortcut wasn't listed. I wonder what other shortcuts are not listed in the references/guides?

Sounds like time to do some experimenting to find any others!!

LOL... I would not recommend randomly hitting keys though... especially "o"
