I just installed Win8 on the DAW. So far so good except for a couple plugs not working.
 
I am having trouble registering Dim Pro though. Since I have multiple versions of SONAR, I have multiple licenses for DimPro.
 
I get the registration dialogue and enter the activation code. I then get an error telling me to enter it as I got it from the e-mail. When I copied the registration, there were no additional spaces before or after the registration number.
 
Thoughts?

Register using the stand alone version running as administrator using credentials with a serial number starting with CWDM15. I always cut and paste but some seem to have trouble with this method.

Do you know how I get to run X3 in admin mode all the time without right clicking the program icon to start?

Right-click the icon, it is under the Compatibility tab in the Properties dialog.

I have projects I recently opened in Win7 using DimPro that will not load DimPro when the project opens in Win8. Do  you know if there is a way, besides reinserting DimPro, to get the project to open DimPro?

Is is possible the old installation had a DXi version of DimPro installed in addition to the VST?

no, this was a new install of 1.5 on Win7. I tweaked the synth and I have no access to the presets. I can install the DimPro in the synth rack, but I will have to remember what I did and I have slept since then. ;)

If I can download the project file from somewhere I will try to save the DimPro settings as a preset for you.

Thanks Steve, I will try and get to that. I will requeue with a location. May not be till later though.  I am opening other projects to make sure I got everything installed.

No problem, when and if you want me to look at it, I just need the project file not any of the audio.
