Hi,
I've got a single project which a) takes over 30-minutes to load and b) disables all UAD plugins.  I've tried running it in Safe Mode and yielded the same results.  The project used to work--I just tried opening it the other day and found these issues.  I have Sonar X3 producer, with the latest update, and I'm running UAD version 7.5.0 (none of the later updates have given me anything I HAD to have).

I'm open to any ideas--I'd like to finish this project ...

Can you update to the latest UAD version or are you saying you already have this? There have been a number of issues with older UAD plugins. From what you are saying I'm assuming you have Sonar X3E.

The other thing to do is do a VST reset, that is a reset followed by a scan:

I am also assuming the VST's are in the correct file path, and there are no dupe VST's for 64 bit and 32 bit...

Cheers..

BTW if you temporary remove the UAD VST's to another folder away from what Cakewalk sees and the project starts quickly then that will at least confirm the source of the issue.

Update:  After inspecting it closer, the only thing I changed the last time I used it was that I replaced and instance of Amplitube with Revalver.  When I disabled the Revalver plug, and saved, it re-opened fine.  It wasn't UAD--it was Revalver! Once I opened it, I enabled the Revalver plug, froze the track, and everything seems fine now.

It's funny how one plugin might make others seem like they're the culprit.

Cool. You may still consider a VST reset as above. Cheers...
