1. A Grain Reverb or Grain Delay takes small chunks of audio (grains), transforms them in some way,
then outputs them.

2. Special and unusual effects. Useful for ambient music drones and syncro mangulated repeats.

FYI, Guitar Rig 5 contains a Grain Delay.

Must say it sounds very interesting and I'm a sucker for things like it. Dern! I'm probably going to already be breaking my new year's resolution.

It's good for creating syncro mangulated effects!!!

Sounds cool for sure.
Problem for me is existing on a welfare check until I can get my back side together and go do some part time work.
Thus will have to pass on this one.
Observation is however that they do keep making these things better and better over time. Way different than when I shook the Showman head enough to get the reverb springs to collide. That rush though always gave the girls a thrill. At the time and maybe now, that was what it was all about.

I just picked up my Vibrolux about 3 inches and dropped it back on the chair.
