I thought that Beethoven and Mozart were dead.

So is the limited music knowledge that can only discuss one kind of music? And the one that takes, sometimes, less talent to learn?

Beethoven and Mozart created music with what was available in their day. What makes you think if they were alive and composing today that they wouldn't use all of the tools available to them.
