Hi all.

I changed my audio station.

Before, i used CakeWalk Sonar X3 under a Windows Station based on Athlon 64 X2 and i bought an iMac 27" (old version "2009"). I use this new station with a dual boot and i use Sonar X3e under Windows Seven 64bits.

I reinstalled Sonar from the X2 version  up to Sonar X3e.
But unfortunately, some vst plugings are no longer installed like for example BReverb 2. Because, when i load my cakewalk project, there's an alert about this plugin (this pluging is missing).

This package has been offered for free with Sonar X3 udpate, but i don't know how to recovering this package.

If somebody could helping me?

Regards

Franck.

Go into your cakewalk account and download the full version of the BReverb, if that is what you used previosly. Everything you purchased is in your account.

Hi

Thanks for your help.

This plugins is not into the list 'My Registered Products'. But i had this plugin on my old install.

I don't know how this plugin has been installed, but it was present into the old install, and with a reinstall, this plugin is missing.

I don't know if this plugin has been installed during an update or not.

And i've not idea how to reintall this one. If i can copy and past a folder or not from the old HDD.

I'm a little bit frustrated right now.

And i don't want to pay again this module if i had this one for free with the old install of course. :)

Regards

Check your Overloud Account. If you had the full version, it was downloaded and registered with them.

Good luck. On rebuilds you have the chance of losing tons of plugins. It's taken me three years to mostly recover projects after a very ill-executed upgrade on my DAW.

Don't forget to reset and re-scan your VSTs. Can't hurt, might help.

It is in Sonar X2/X3 producer only.

What makes a plugin usable as a pro-channel module anyway? I assume it's got it's own additional UI info for the smaller box...is there any substantial code difference to "pro-channelize" a plugin?

I'll try to do it.

It's not a very good news.

Not really. I've Sonar X3e Studio. updated from Sonar X2 Studio, and this plugin has been installed during these updates. This plugin or package has been offered for free with a Sonar update, but i don't know when, and with what update. I guess with Sonar X2 to Sonar X3.

Or maybe a way, i'll try to setting up a new folder into the Sonar configuration, pointing on my old HDD with my old folders containing the vst plugins, rescan  them and see if my plugin reappears.

I'll let you know.

 Thanks for all.

Hi,this problem was for me sometimes ....
the first save the projects on a another driver and uninstall the sonar . Next steps: start menu -run- regedit-ok-ok
You will find the folder HKEY LOCAL MACHINE -klick
In the SOFTWARE folder delete the" cakewalk music software"
Restart the PC and reinstall the Sonar.
I hope this helps you.
