From the several videos I've seen of EZD2 and the ONE video I've seen of AD2 I think I'll be upgrading EZD2.  AD2 doesn't appear to be much of an upgrade at all, at least not when compared to EZD2.

If someone has upgraded to AD2 I'd love to hear how good it is.

I've done the upgrades to both...AD2 sounds better to me...

Everything is new...new interface, new (re-done) samples, more kit piece slots, more control...
The only new kit is the Fairfax Vol. 1, but all the others have been separated into single kits...

There is a Search by Grid feature ,that lets you put the beat you want in a "grid view" and it will show
you the corresponding beats in the browswer, there is a "Transform" section that lets you adjust many aspects of the MIDI.

EZ2 wins for ease of use (which is their forte) and for the Song Creator and Tap to Find options.
It's very easy to create and entire song.  It's like EZKeys for drums...
The only thing updated in EZ2 sound wise is the new kits contained in the upgrade.
All the other samples are the same, just with new "presets" and graphics for the EZ2 interface.

If I had to choose by sound....AD2 wins...but EZ WILL get the job done.

For ease of use and song writers, EZ2 wins...it's amazingly simple now to put a song together.

Comes down to preference, as both have strengths and weakness...but BOTH are well worth
the upgrade prices.

Everything pales in comparison to BFD 3 right now....and, from what I understand, no SD 3 is in the
works...and no SSD5 in the works either (that I'm aware of)

Thanks for the review, very helpful
