A soon-to-be geezer here. 58 and lovin' the DAW world! After 30+ years in software development and IT management. Returned to my first love, making music! I can now afford the toys I dreamed about 40 years ago. Way too much fun.

62 here!.......I'm an addict.  Started at age 14... I begged my Mom to let me quit my piano lessons.....and she said that I could if I would explain to her how I was going to keep music a part of my life going forward.  I told her that I wanted to buy a Farfisa Mini Compact and a Wurly and start my own "group".  I've been doin' this ever since.  Thanks Mom!  I never dreamed that I'd have the knowledge, tools and capability to do the things that we all can do today with the help of digital electronics and tools like SONAR X3.  Long Live Rock!  (I need it every night).

Inside every geezer is a 21-year-old who looks into the mirror and thinks "WTF? when did THAT happen?"

I am a 68 year old geezer who loves making and recording music. I’ve been playing and learning the guitar for 55 years now!  I started on trumpet 60 years ago then guitar, French horn and bass. Now it’s guitar, bass and an EWI-USB wind controller.

I started recording on an old stereo tape deck then an Atari with Dr T’s software and onto Cakewalk. After years of playing in wedding bands I now thoroughly enjoy playing what I want to play when I want to play it! I also teach guitar, bass and music theory part time at a local music store.

I wish I had this stuff in the 60s!

FWIW I quit looking into mirrors.  There is always some old fart looking back at me!
