I created an audio track.
I copied a wav vocal file there.
I added Melodyne to the track.
I transferred the vocal to Melodyne.
All Good up to this point.

Now I adjusted one notes pitch - No problem.
I went to adjust another note and the first note I edited went back to it's original position?
I tried different notes and then went to the next note and again the first edited note went back to it's original position.
This is the first time I imported a wav file to an audio track and tried to adjust it with Melodyne.

When I work on other tracks that were recorded live to a track I have had no issues adjust notes.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have this exact problem, it renders melodyne useless. There must be a simple answer. It hasnt always done this so something has changed.

I transferred the vocal to Melodyne.

How are you doing this ? Might be just a terminology issue here, but there is no need to "transfer" anything. Select clip, Ctrl+M and it's there in front of you. Not saying this will solve the problem you have, but just something to try if you're doing it some other way. I have not experienced the issue you describe at all.

Even if you select a clip and use region fx>melodyne which then opens and analyses the track, it still does the same thing.
If you select a note and change pitch, its fine, UNTIL you move another note which then undoes the previous edit.

Might try a re-install

Sounds like there is another Melodyne window open somewhere and you didn't click away the "welcome to Melodyne" prompt.

I had this problem two days ago. But I had left about four melodyne regions on (not bounced to clip like I usually do) when I'd last worked on this project. When I reopened it the next day, it did this and drove me crazy for about 30 minutes until I closed, reopened and bounced down the clips. I bet that's what the problem was. I'm very happy I read this thread!

Yeah it's kinda dumb, the first Melodyne window ALWAYS starts with a prompt, and you seemingly can't disable it. If you save your project with a bunch of minimized Melodyne windows, you tend to get this problem. Finding the one with the prompt and clicking it away should fix it, no need to bounce.
