I still use this plugin. I apply it to instruments, including guitar, moving up 12 steps three times to get some way interesting "harmonics." And I use it on "purc" sounds to add three layers lower.
I most always have to adjust the wav files. They seem to be added with a slight delay. Sometimes this works fine.
But I have found TRANSPOSE to be more accurate. It uses the Radius functions. And can take much longer. I use this when the sound needs to be clear without effects. Elastique in reaper is good.
I use a few common folders for all the plugins I use. These folders are on the samples disk, not the OS/sonar install disk. I have copied the most current versions from the buried sonar install folders to these folders. This means I will not lose anything when I have moved to newer computers. I also use my folders for presets, and cal files,.... I attempt to NEVER use the default buried and hidden folders for anything needing backup, if possible. I wish the CW dudes understood nothing a user needs to backup should be placed in buried and hidden folders.
I try to always install sonar to a c:\sonar folder (8, x, x2, x3). Most 3rd party audio programs are placed in c:\audioprograms not the programs folders.
More user control, less wasted time.
