I'm not sure I like the new chord sequence. I guess it needs vocals to be sure.

thxs gtrpima.  It's an instrumental, and was a one night ordeal.  It was intentional to play off the original chords, although the same basic ones are still buried in there to some degree.  After listening, I grew tired of it a little and my wife said the beginning sounds like a funeral!  lol...

firstly, great title. I agree that the drums are too low in the mix but everything else sounds great - guitars are the biz

Little more slap on the kick please I can feel the thump but not the hear the slap.

Cool!   Drum levels aside, I really liked the total rocked out feel.   Guitars are nice and crunchy.
 
But most of all... loved the ending.   Delightfully twisted.
