Peterson Strobosoft. It's not a plugin, but about the best software tuner there is in my opinion.

Strobosoft can be run as a VST plugin.
Been a while since I've used it... but I remember loading it as a VST Plugin.

The Strobosoft runs under a bridge thingy...or at least it used to. It was a pain so I only use it in standalone mode. All my emulators have tuners anyway.

IF you have a tuner that wont let you tune down a half step there's a very easy work around. Capo your guitar on the first fret and tune to standard tuning. When you're done just take the capo off.

Yep, that is how we use to do it when we had a singer who's natural singing key was Eb.

It uses what Peterson call a "microhost" to run as a VST or AU plugin. As Yoropal says it isn't (well, wasn't when I last tried it ages ago) as reliable as using it stand alone. It made a bigger cpu hit as a plugin as well if I recall correctly.

Then all you have to do is correct for however sharp the capo might have pulled each string.....

A chromatic tuner is a useful investment if you use multiple or unusual guitar tunings or capos. Not even a Shubb can be consistently fitted without pulling at least one string sharp sometimes.

Ah, wait, sorry. When you hay half a step, do you mean a semitone, or half a semitone.
I think I may have just messed you around.
If you want it to read as Ab, then you can just use the tuner to read one semitone flat, or set the base frequency A to Ab which is 415.305

really sorry if I misunderstood and confused

Edit: yeah Ab1 =103.82625
Doh, sorry

Yes I mean making the standard tuning in flat. I actually don't understand a semi tone or half semi tone. I'll try your new suggestion this weekend.

Thanks,
