I agree Joegab! These "brilliant" marketers at these companies decide they need to move on to something else not taking into consideration the market "need" for the product.

Giorgio, I agree.  I tried several iPad applications and was not happy with any of them.  The iPad apps did not have all the functions the Tranzport has and it required the PC to be "on line".   A wireless keyboard and mouse will work but the Tranzport is much smaller and more portable.
 

 
I too agree! I have tried (bought) 1 or 2 for Android and now 2 for iPad Mini Ret and they ALL have serious issues. My Tranzport, otoh has been flawless going on 8-9 years now. I need to rethink my priorities. I DO wish it had master fader control, though. Lowering the MF on the console is how I balance the HP mix while tracking in the booth.

I am elated to have my Tranzport working in Win 8.1 Pro x64. I love my Tranzport. One of my favorite DAW peripherals and the best DAW remote for me. It is so easy to use and ergonomic. I was shocked when I found out Frontier Design had stopped making them.
