live Kicksville stuff! SONAR drives the whole show - from playback tracks to video sync (not to mention everything we've ever recorded has been done in SONAR). Enjoy...

Kickaville, more videos! It's a pity you only had a few people watching that live performance, it was awesome! I'd go crazy if I were at a show and saw something like that.

why, thank you very much! There are a couple of other videos from this tour on our home page: www.kicksville.com

Yeah, it would have been nice to have more people, but the shows were meant to be sort of a test run. We have so much technology involved on stage that we needed to make sure it all worked before we really started promoting the show.

I'll put it this way: 72 inputs on stage / 2 digital consoles / 6 stereo monitor mixes / multiple video sources & screens / 24 moving lights / 4 CPUs / SONAR driving playback, video & lighing sync, console automation, patch changes, hosting softsynths, and click. (And for the record, SONAR never even blinked....not one issue during all the pre-production/rehearsals/tour.)

Now that we know it works, we've got some REALLY cool things coming up. I'll post more info once the ink is dry....

Hi,
Although it's not at YouTube yet (who manages to have the TIME to update all these MySpace, YouTube, Google, MSN sites?...) here's my contribution:

BLIND ALLEY- Live performance of "Wont touch ground" http://www.blindalley.se/dd/WTG.wmv

From the album Destination Destiny (Perris Records). Recorded with Sonar 4 and Sonar 5. Live sync with Sonar. Video editing - Adobe Premiere ;-)

Cool and Dandy! This video is of the band Aethellis playing the song "Hubris" which was started some years back recording-wise with Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 and finished several years later in Sonar. The song was was in Broadjam.com's Progressive Rock Top 10 chart for 6 months (peaking at #1).

Of course the band are miming to the recording (which is actually all me, Narcissists ho!) but that's "MTV" for ya!
