Well, thanks a lot! :D

We will try to post some more video clips in the future - so much to do, so little time ;-)
The reason it's only half the songs is that our label do not want us to post the whole songs, due to the risk of internet copying etc.

Hope you enjoy the album.

Best,
Magnus

why, thank you very much! There are a couple of other videos from this tour on our home page: www.kicksville.com

Yeah, it would have been nice to have more people, but the shows were meant to be sort of a test run. We have so much technology involved on stage that we needed to make sure it all worked before we really started promoting the show.

I'll put it this way: 72 inputs on stage / 2 digital consoles / 6 stereo monitor mixes / multiple video sources & screens / 24 moving lights / 4 CPUs / SONAR driving playback, video & lighing sync, console automation, patch changes, hosting softsynths, and click. (And for the record, SONAR never even blinked....not one issue during all the pre-production/rehearsals/tour.)

Now that we know it works, we've got some REALLY cool things coming up. I'll post more info once the ink is dry....

Live performance recorded to Adobe Audition and then the wavs were taken into Sonar6, mixed and mastered. Effect on the lead acoustic is CamelSpace into Sonitus Delay on an effects bus. The album which it is from is a remastered edition - the album was originally recorded in Audition but almost everything was transferred over to Sonar6 and remastered, sometimes rerecorded entirely in Sonar6.

If you like that you can check out more stuff on my website and/or on iTunes and other music services. Thanks Cakewalk!!

P.S. Youtube makes the audio mono. It's in stereo on MySpace (www.myspace.com/markscudder) and at www.whrwfm.org. But please leave your comments about it on Youtube. Complicated stuff, this Web 2.0 :-)

Thanks (I think). Yeah everyone is really playing. The sync on my end is really good. Youtube seriously messes up the a/v sync. And yea it's just camera audio. You can hear real multi-track (SONAR) audio recordings of a live gig HERE

cool...thanks, man!

yeah, someday we'll start using SONAR to its full capabilities

seriously though, not only is the whole live show driven by SONAR, everything we've ever recorded has been done in SONAR (or Pro Audio back in the day) as well.

Hey Bob, just teasing ya. You guys played Comfortably Numb great (from the mp3 link). I kept waiting to hear how well the solo would be nailed, and it was right on. I think I heard a miss or two on drums, but other than that it was awsome, great effects/vox/playing on this one :)

Here's a demo video of the MIDI visualization software I'm developing (MidiSpark). The audio for this video was completely done in Sonar with Garritan Personal Orchestra

Here is a lo-fi animated music video to my "Shock the Monkey" remix I did a few months back. My son and I worked on this off an on over his spring school vacation. It's a little crude but I think really neat. And for once, youtube didn't totally mess up the a/v sync too badly
