SONAR X3 Producer.  I know this is something simple, but when I click the MOVE tool and select a clip, when I subsequently left-click and hold the mouse button to move the clip, it is the volume envelope that is being changed.  What am I doing wrong?  I've been using SONAR this way for years.

SOLVED - I had "Clip Gain" selected in the track pulldown (I don't know what this pulldown is called).  I changed it to "Clips" and now I can move.

Still being something of an X3 noob, that Edit Filter is still tripping me up sometimes - I'm editing away, I try to do a quick thing like shorten the length of a clip, momentarily forgetting that I have to do some menu diving before I can do that move, since I had just been working on a volume envelope.  PITA in my opinion.

BUT - here's a helpful keybinding that I'm getting a lot of use out of, Thornev - you'll like it.  Shift+right click toggles back and forth between your two most recent edit types.  Clip and Volume are the two things I'm using most often, so with using Shift/Click I instantly go back and forth between the two, Volume and Clip, without having to go over to the danged menu and start clicking for what I want.

---when it works - I'll add that for some reason, throughout working during a session, sometimes that keybinding stops working, and I have to do the initial Edit Filter selections again.
