Hi guys!

I've been using the Reaktor Player with both Monark and Razor for a while, and one issue that I almost *always* have (particularly with Razor) is that after a MIDI clip triggering Reaktor plays, the last notes hang indefinitely, until the next notes are played. This will even happen if I stop playback, rewind to the beginning (before any MIDI clips), and begin playing again- the hung notes begin sounding as soon as I hit play. 

Upon export, everything behaves normally- no hung notes.

The workaround I've been using is to automate the volume of the audio track containing Reaktor so that it's at -inf whenever I don't want to hear it. However, on my latest project the hangs extend into parts of the track where MIDI cilps *are* playing, preventing me from hearing my mix.
 
Resetting the audio engine and audio/MIDI data is ineffective.

I don't have this issue with any other synths. I'm not sure if it's just a Reaktor setting I missed, or what, but it's driving me bonkers!

Update: The only fix I've found to be effective is hitting the "power" button in Razor between MIDI clips. Obviously this is a pain, and won't work for exporting, but it definitely points to Reaktor/Razor as the culprit.

I've contacted NI support, I'll report back.

Dose this happen with any snapshot and or preset you've made?the midi clips your playin dose the end of the clip cut off before the midi data stops?depending on the snapshot reaktor might be looking for the release data if you have a midi note cut off at the end that could be the culprit.what version of reaktor are you running?

I'm using Reaktor 5 Player, version 1.5 of Razor. Happens with a lot of different presets (though I haven't been able to really figure out snapshots with the Player). I've tried simply writing in a quarter note somewhere in the middle of the song in Staff View to ensure that it wasn't an issue with notes/clips being cut off. 

SOLVED:

OK, after speaking with a rep from NI, apparently in this specific case there was an issue with how Razor was key-tracking the reverb time, making the time essentially infinite until the next notes played and reset the key track data. The solution was to setup an envelope for the reverb time with one node at the beginning of the project, which kind of "reset" it.

Wasn't this fixed in an update? I seem to remember reading a few posts about hung notes in Razor in the past.

I found some posts from 2011 about hung notes in Reaktor in general, but despite all of my Googlin' I couldn't find anything more recent, or about Razor specifically. With that said, sorry if this is a repost!
