I have 5.6.5 but would really like to have an earlier version between 4 & 5.5.x if possible. Can it be downloaded from somewhere or do they destroy all previous versions?

I had to rollback to 5.5.2
Just d/l and run the installer.

Great. Thanks jatoth. BTW, 5.0.2 is the oldest version there but 5.5.2 will do.

I have Kontakt 4.2 but when I update it it won't run.  I also am unable to Win 7 updates to run on my computer after trying many many different solutions I am unable to use Kontakt which kind of upsets me.  Is there a patch for Kontakt to work on Win7 computers that won't update since MS has been making it hard.

You might find some help on their web site or forums for that. I'm on Win 10 and new to the NI game. To my knowledge you should be able to have and run different Kontakt versions side by side. I have 5.5.2 & 5.6.5 but I point them to different install directories.

I still have Kontakt 4 on my windows 7 64 bit systems - works perfectly.
Check out the windows updating issue - I had that on an old system a while ago and had to do a couple of things such as described above - it will update eventually!!
