I insert a midi track, import the midi file then open EzDrummer, set the BPM's and hit play. Sounds great everything is going good. Then I want to export that one track as a wav. There's nothing but silence on the exported file. I know it's something I'm overlooking, but can't seem to figure out what it is.

you have to select the midi track AND the audio track.

But doesn't SONAR throw an error message "Selection contains no audio" when that is the case? At least it used to (or was it only when bouncing?).
Another thing is, you don't need to create a MIDI track, if you "Insert soft synth", all the tracks are created automatically.

Your workflow description doesn't mention audio track at all, so how are you actually trying to do things?

Well, there has to be a midi track and an audio track and they both have to be selected. Or, an "Instrument" track Depending on how he has that set up is the question maybe.

the error message occurs for me when I don't select both midi and audio tracks.

But then, he's gone away so......

The description is vague.
Import a midi file to a blank track,
Insert a drummer synth
Point to output of the midi track to the soft synth
When exporting I select "none" as I find it works 100% of the time.Selecting "all" sometimes doesn't give me "All" and parts are missing.

Sorry I asked a question and disappeared for a couple of days. I appreciate the replies.

I didn't get an error message or anything, just a mute audio file. I kind of figured it out, but there is still one issue that bugs me. The very last sound is a cymbal crash that rings out for a few seconds. The output file cuts it off, no ring... How can that be fixed?

Just grab the clip's edge with the cursor and drag it out.
