Is there anything special about the "last track" in this regard? For anyone who wants to see just one track, wouldn't it be better to have a way to quickly see just the one track (any track) you want to see? I really want to know, though, what is special about the last track?

They way to see a single track has always been right in front of everyone's nose - it's called the 'track manager'...

Cj i noticed that as well after 10 min as my porject template is done like this .....but i have been annyed by so many other things that this was for me a minor  one .....

But yep let's lobby for this simple thing

X3 to be X1 + , not X1 -

i also noticed that some color customisation are no more here .....

I believe it already is exactly that for most.

Do I understand this tread correctly ?:
Member CJaysMusic (who is a credit and inspiration to this forum) goes to Cakewalk Support about some workflow changes that were not written large in the literature, and gets told by support that this new behavior is as intended and to basically suck it up. He then posts here to discuss his unhappiness, and within a couple or three posts, we get Cakewalk on the thread with a full retraction, and an announcement that the issue that CJaysMusic is complaining about will be adressed on the very next point update.
That is my understanding of what just happened here.
My other question is:  What else can we get Member CJaysMusic to complain about?

No, you don't understand it correctly.

The current UI scroll behavior has no plans to be changed in the next point release. This is the inability to scroll tracks when there is ample view real estate. (intended)

The view jumping when alt+scrolling (zooming) on a track is slated to be fixed in the next point release. (bug)

Seth, when floating windows or other apps, you may not have as much real estate as you are counting on.

1. Double-click the track header.
or
2. Show Only Selected Tracks (Ctrl+Shift+H)
or
3. Show and Fit Selection (Ctrl+Alt+H)

I have these last two bound to easier one-handed key combos.

That's fine, in the case of not having enough room, the view still scrolls.

This process seemed to work OK for me:
- With the first track selected, enable Auto-Zoom
- Drag the multi-dock divider up so that it touches the very bottom of that first Auto-Zoomed track
- Use the scroll wheel to navigate down to the last track

What I got was the last track only.  And, I saved it as a screen set just to be sure.   Is this still different than what CJ was needing to do?
