BTW - I'm a big fan of Xander and the Peace Pirates. Their lead guitar player was told he'd never play guitar, one look at this video and you'll see why...not having a hand didn't get in the way. If you want to see Xander rock out on lead, go to the 1 minute mark in this video from Frankfurt.
 
(FWIW Gibson hired them for CES, then NAMM, then Frankfurt. At NAMM, people would come into the booth because they sounded so good but with the crowd, didn't see Xander's hook. When the set was over and people could see his hand or more appropriately his lack thereof, they pretty much freaked out.)
