Hey all,
I have X3 new installed - b/c I reinstalled Windows on my machine from scratch I haven't put my old copy of X2 on yet. But when I open an X2 project with V-Vocal clips on it, is there a way to remove those in X3?

Deleting the VV clips would seem the obvious thing to do ?
Personally I would re-install VV anyway, it still does things that melodyne doesn't even of you do the editor upgrade, so having both available is win/win situation.

I found that it was just easier to keep X2 installed. I had VV tracks in places that I had forgotten about and manually deleting them messed with how I expected the project to be. You can just do a minimal install of X2 (no synths, effects, or templates) and VV problems go away. Personally, I have found that changing them over to Melodyne is a good thing though.

Didnt VV go away in X3? I can't find it anywhere in the menus of my X3 install.

If you have X2 and X3 installed then you can use either VV or Melodyne as region effects in X3.

Yes, V-Vocal and R-Mix were Roland based products which could not be bundled with X3. X3 does have hooks to use V-Vocal as a region FX, just like Melodyne. In order to get V-Vocal back, run the X2 advanced install option and select X2 SONAR program. Other plug-ins from X2 such as R-Mix and VC-64 can be also be installed by using the advanced install option.
