Hi, I have posted this on the RME forum and have submitted it RME support but they are on vacation till the 6th. Thought I'd post it here in case someone else might have experienced the same issue.

Just picked up a used HDSPe AIO card and when installing it the computers device manager does not recognize it. I am running X1. My motherboard is a GIgabyte P67x-UD3-B3 and I am running Windows 7. The AIO is installed in slot 1. I previously had an Emu 1212m (PCI) which worked fine. I have uninstalled that card and it's drivers. Is there a known issue with my motherboard and the RME AIO that you are aware of? I also mounted the card in a different computer (x58 motherboard w/ windows 7) and that computer didn't recognize the card either. Any ideas? Regards, Greg

Hey Greg,

If the AIO wasn't recognized in two separate machines, it's likely defective.
I'd get it swapped out...

Thanks Jim.

I'm going to return the card to the seller. Do you have any thoughts on the FF400? They are pretty reasonable on Ebay and the extra ins and outs might be handy!

I ended up with an RME 9632 card with input and output daughter cards. All installed on first try! Everything is now up and running and sounds great!

Awesome! I just caught this thread. I use an RME RayDAT, and it has been awesome. Best of luck.
