Hangdog Cat
The name of the song is SUICIDE.

As I wrote on Soundcloud, please don't listen if you think you might be offended by a humorous song on this topic.

Dark, very dark, but I get the humor. Mix-wise I'd drop that guitar a little while the vocals are doing their dark, dark thing!

After two verse/choruses, I'd throw in an instrumental break, maybe a guitar solo. That guitar noodling is an absolute strength but it's not really featured. In fact the noodling kind of competes with the vocal. Why not cut it back a tad, then feature it in a solo . . .

Your excellent song "Anything For You" came on, and in that song the guitar is a little more restrained in favor of the vocal, as an example.

+1 for your songwriting chops.

cheers,

Wookiee
As Johnny Mandel and Mike Altman wrote "Suicide is Painless".

Interesting song, Tom gives valid advice, I would also think spreading the backing Vox a little wider might help.

Thanks for sharing.

Great song!  Nothing stood out but the clever lyrics for me.  The song that followed was pretty cool, too.

I like this a lot. Nice work!

Is that someone playing the drums/brushes? There should be a swirling sound where the drummer sweeps a brush in a circle on the drum head. Of course, it won't sound proper is he doesn't have the proper type of drum head where it feels rough to the touch.

I like the next song on your page.

I liked it, despite the topic.

Tom's suggestions are good IMO - simplifying the guitar running under the vocals and then featuring it as a solo section of sorts could be nice.  Overall though it's really well done and has just the right vibe for the style.
