3. A more universal approach to track fx (I hate the ProChannel/bin duality)
I don't see the problem here, surely you can use one and not worry about the other. Personally I do everything in the ProChannel, I don't get along with those fiddly little FX bins.
What I do think needs some work is the implementation of FX Chains in the ProChannel. Size-wise they waste a lot of vertical space if you're just using them to host one or two VST's between modules. It's rare that I have all my VST's in one chain and you end up scrolling when you wouldn't have to if FX Chains could be resized to fit however many effects you have in them. Although their size does seem to be constrained by the controls on them, so I'm not sure how the solution would look.
Also I'd like to see ProChannel FX Chains more ACT compatible - currently, ACT will not recognize individual VST's in the chain, you have to map the controls you want to the FX Chain controls.
