Ted Templmen was asking for this back in Pro Audio 8. Which would be around 1998-99 IIRC. I myself would love it!!

Just one:

Revamp the MIDI I/O so that it has flexible routing. In particular, able to route MIDI to effects.
A real MIDI bus, like we use to have when it was all wires and cables that could plug into anything.
