...just popped in to say I still love the Sonitus delay.
We've gotten a lot of new delays in the X series, yet I still find the Sonitus delay to be quite musical.

It's my secret weapon for creating big stereo spreads with guitar.
 
I was writing an article on how to do that, and given the huge number of Sonar screen shots I use to illustrate articles, thought I'd mix it up and find something else that did the job. Well, it wasn't easy...out of all the delays on my system, only the PSP Audioware tapped delay and Guitar Rig Twin Delay gave enough resolution at short delay times. I use the Sonitus delay 90% of the time I need to use delay.

...just used on another stereo acoustic piece...
The first one tonight wound up with Guitar Rig 5 Traktor Delay and the ensemble chorus ...both mixed well under the two tracks.... sounded great ... the second had a more musical quality thanks to the Sonitus delay.
 
...wish I could interpret the math that went into building the Sonitus ...that way I could identify why it's so good at what it does...you're right ...the resolution is beautiful OTH ... it's like a few Jimi songs I never learned ...yet listen to frequently.... I know nothing except I like them!

The ability to filter the delay along with the independent stereo control of time, mix and feedback, make it the most used of all the delays I have by far!!

Sonitus was my go to delay for years. It is a good one. Fabfilter Timeless 2 has replaced it as my go to delay but even on sale, which occurs rarely (currently on sale for the second time in history), it ain't cheap @ $86.

Yes, count me in as a fan of the Sonitus delay and plugins .

I like the complete Sonitus suite. Just a few weeks ago i discovered how mighty the Sonitus Gate is, it has some unique and really useful feature that i've not seen at any other gate!
