Call me incorrigable, but I bought and tried over the last 2 years several (not cheap)
VST delays and the most look much better than the sonitus delay,
but in the end the sonitus delay mostly fits better.

It´s a classic........

Have there been any updates to it in the last 5 years? What's the current version number?

+1 here :-)
I like the complete Sonitus suite. Just a few weeks ago i discovered how mighty the Sonitus Gate is, it has some unique and really useful feature that i've not seen at any other gate!

Agreed. I still use the Sonitus delay and gate on most projects, and even the compressor and reverb get used quite a lot. I love the flexibility and the GUIs. Very intuitive and lots of useful visual feedback with no "fluff."

Not sure there have been any changes in the last several years. I think it just gets recompiled with each new version.

BTW I like the Sonitus plugs as well.

No plan to include the VST version? (It'd be nice if we could use it outside Sonar as well)

The Sonitus plug-ins sold separately are 32bit only. The only 64bit version of the Sonitus Suite is the DX version bundled with SONAR. Can't see Cakewalk bundling the 32bit VST version just so they can be used in other products.

Oh, I see. Not sure if a 32-bit only plugin suite for $99 is still appealing, but it's unlikely they release a 64-bit VST version of the suite. Thanks for the info.

I use Sonitus in other programs (Reaper and Soundforge).

The Sonitus plug-ins are not locked to Cakewalk. The bundled version is DX. Many hosts require a DX-to-VST wrapper to load the plug-ins.
