@gmp - yeah - those entries would not have been deleted through the clean removal instructions I gave you.

I knew the X3 plugin manager replaced the plugin manager of prior Sonar versions, but hadn't considered the inventory and exclusions and such.

I have used the Sonar clean removal instruction set for years now, and just never had to deal with remnants of a version of a plugin manager.

I will go back and review the registry keys you posted in that other link, and see what needs to be deleted to get rid of Vsampler references.

I will either post back in about an hour, or will do so in the morning - depends on how long it takes me to finish something I am working on, and how tired I am at that point.

Since taking Bob Bone's advice for using my onboard sound for Windows Media player, etc, I've had maybe about 2 crashes in 2 weeks. So I'd say that has pretty much solved the crashes. With me running 32 bit X3 and Win Media player being 64 bit both trying to access my sound card, it made X3 unstable.

It's good of you to keep the forum updated and aware when an issue is resolved. Some people don't do that, but doing so could be helpful for someone here.

Robert is a very good help for the community. We're lucky to have him involved in helping here.
