I shut down last night after working on a project and when I booted up today I have no sound.Was working fine last night. Did not make any changes. Windows 8.1, Cakewalk Sonar X3e etc... I uninstalled & reinstalled. Shows connected & shows software installed. Using ASIO driver mode.

Do you have automatic updates on?
Did MS "break" the firewire, again?

I do not have automatic updates on but it seems to be working again. Just not sure how. But seems to be working fine for now. Only took an hour
